Bincho Yakitori – your Brighton Izakaya solution by the sea

“A good few years ago as a London chef looking for a change Bincho Yakitori’s head chef/owner got the chance to work in Japan. He went with the aim of studying the finer arts of Japanese kaiseki cuisine. Some years later, he assembled a small crew of like minded Izakaya fanatics, and a few visa’s applications later and he arrived back in the UK with his new friends.”
Bincho Yakitori

“Bincho in Brighton is textbook wabi-sabi; a tiny space with only second-hand wood tables and chairs, bar seating and hanging industrial style lights, ripe with minimalism and stark coolness. The all-Japanese front-of-house staff dressed head-to-toe in black and pulsing IDM sounds create the authentic and cool atmosphere.”

Bincho Yakitori’s sake tavern dining area feel

“The same Bincho that used to grace London’s foodie havens of Old Compton Street and Exmouth Market with its simple menu of mostly grilled meats made all the more moreish by a Japanese approach to flavour, style and service is now pleasing palates in cozy little Brighton nook only a few blocks up from the beach. “
